Truth’s Table is a podcast hosted by Black Christian women who love truth: Christina Edmondson and Ekemini Uwan.
Dr. Christina Edmondson holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology and a MS degree in Family Therapy. A Qualified Assessor for the Intercultural Development Inventory, Certified Cultural Intelligence facilitator, public speaker, and mental health therapist, Christina is often contacted by churches and organizations to consult about both diversity and inclusion and mental health issues. Her writing has been seen and referenced in a variety of outlets including Essence and Gospel Today. Christina is a proud native of Baltimore, Maryland. She resides in Nashville with her husband, Pastor Mika Edmondson, and their two wonderful daughters.
Ekemini Uwan is an anti-racism writer, speaker and public theologian who received her Master of Divinity degree in 2016 from Westminster Theological Seminary (WTS) in Philadelphia, PA. She is also the 2015 Greene Prize in Apologetics Award recipient. Passionate about sound theology, Ekemini has a fierce commitment to biblical orthodoxy and its implications for issues pertaining to racial injustice, police brutality, and white supremacy. Her writings have been published in the Huffington Post Black Voices, Christianity Today, and The Reformed African American Network, among others, and her insights have been quoted by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Mashable, and Huffington Post Religion.
