CCFW Conversation

Support the Center for Faith & Writing

We believe that widening the conversation around belief and literature is a worthwhile endeavor. We also know that it is a costly endeavor.

As we grow, we look forward to pursuing new initiatives:

  • bringing world-class writers into K-12 classrooms across West Michigan
  • the establishment of a visiting writer at the CCFW
  • increased access to & publication about the writers brought into conversation through the CCFW and the Festival

To learn more about endowing any of these initiatives, please contact us directly

Individual Donors:

We continue to need—and appreciate—your support for the CCFW’s ongoing work. Your tax-deductible gift helps us bring world-renowned writers to the Festival of Faith & Writing and other events and keep those events free or as low-cost as possible. They also help us train the next generation of publishing professionals, readers, and writers through student involvement, the Publishing Institute, and free resources from the CCFW Digital Studio. In short, by giving to the CCFW, you are cultivating literary community. And we are immensely grateful for your part in our shared work of welcoming into faithful conversation all those who recognize the power of story and the beauty of language.

Gifts can be sent via this secure online form. Or, if you prefer, you can mail your gift to us at:

Partners & Sponsors:

We’re also eager to partner with other organizations that are invested in readers, writers, and conversations about belief and the literary arts. In addition to collaborative programming like the 2016 Race in America series and our free Regional Literary Arts Calendar, we offer many opportunities for businesses and non-profits to connect with book lovers, including advertising through our podcast, print program, and event app, plus the chance to host book signings, sell merchandise, and connect with writers in the exhibit hall at the Festival of Faith & Writing. To learn more about the full range of ways that your organization can collaborate with us, please contact us for a prospectus.

The work of the CCFW is the work of many hands. Together, all of you play a vital role in helping the Center for Faith & Writing offer meaningful, exceptional, and accessible programming. Thank you for your partnership.

Give a Scholarship for #GivingTuesday

New in 2020, we are thrilled to offer a number of Festival of Faith & Writing scholarships to cover registration and/or pre-conference workshops for those who may not otherwise participate. Join us as we dedicate our GivingTuesday campaign to raising as much money as possible for scholarship recipients.

About #GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

The CCFW is also a part of #GRgives, Grand Rapids' city-wide campaign to raise funds, find volunteers, and build awareness for nonprofits in the Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area. Designed to create a local movement around #GivingTuesday, #GRgives helps nonprofits band together—promoting one resource for all to share their donation and volunteer opportunities, and one place for our community members to find all the ways they can give.

Follow us on social media (click the icons on the green banner at the bottom of this page) to join us as we celebrate GivingTuesday with the online CCFW community.

If you would like to support a particular group of scholarship recipient(s), we would love to discuss that with you. Please contact us. General gifts can be sent via this secure online form. Or, if you prefer, you can mail your gift to us at:
