Terry Glaspey

Terry Glaspey is a writer, a teacher, a creative mentor, and someone who finds various forms of art—painting, films, novels, poetry, and music—to be some of the places where he most deeply connects with God. Dr. Glaspey teaches at Northwind Seminary and has a doctorate in spiritual formation from Northwind, as well as a master’s degree in history from the University of Oregon. He has written over a dozen books, including Discovering God Through the Arts: How We Can Grow Closer to God by Appreciating Beauty & Creativity (a Christianity Today book award winner), 75 Masterpieces Every Christian Should Know: The Fascinating Stories Behind Great Art, Literature, Music, and Film (a Christianity Today book award winner), and others. He has been the recipient of several major national awards for his writing.​

Terry enjoys writing and speaking about a variety of topics including creativity and spirituality, the art and craft of writing, the artistic heritage of the Christian faith, the writing of C.S. Lewis and the Inklings, and creative approaches to apologetics.
