Sufjan Stevens

Sufjan Stevens is a singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. Born in Detroit and raised in Northern Michigan, Sufjan attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan and the master's program for writers at the New School for Social Research. His music is known for exploring a wide variety of themes, particularly religion and spirituality. He has released eight solo studio albums and multiple collaborative albums with other artists, and has been honored with Academy Award and Grammy Award nominations. His most recent releases include songs for the film "Call Me By Your Name" and the albumĀ Ascension.
