Rebecca Lauren

Rebecca Lauren, managing editor of Saturnalia Books, teaches English at Eastern University. She also serves on the faculty of Seminar by the Sea, a gender studies summer program in coastal Maine. Winner of an Academy of American Poets Prize and nominated for a Pushcart Prize, her poetry has been published in Prairie Schooner, Mid-American Review, The Cincinnati Review, Rock & Sling, Ruminate, and the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion. Her chapbook, The Schwenkfelders, which is the reimagined the history of her German ancestors’ religious persecution and their subsequent immigration to the United States, won the 2009 Keystone Chapbook Prize.
