Marcia Whitney-Schenck

Marcia Whitney-Schenck is an artist and author who is interested in the integration of history, art, and spirituality. She has a masters degree in art history from the University of Chicago, where she researched Rembrandt’s interpretation of Biblical narrative through images. Whitney-Schenck launched the magazine Christianity and the Arts in 1993, serving as editor until its close in 2001. She has written and performed dramatic interpretations of female saints' lives. She is also author of the historical novel Triptych and the memoir Carrying Stones: A Spiritual Journey on El Camino
