Kate Shellnutt

Kate Shellnutt is an associate editor at Christianity Today, where she manages the magazine's online news coverage and social media, writes long-form cover stories, and oversees CT’s popular Her.meneutics blog. She is also a freelance journalist whose work has appeared in publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Vox. Her work has earned honors from the Society for Features Journalism and Religion News Association. Shellnutt studied journalism and religion at Washington and Lee University, and earned a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
