Amy Julia Becker is an award-winning writer and speaker on disability, faith, and family. She is the author of four books, including To Be Made Well, White Picket Fences (winner of a Christianity Today award of merit), Small Talk, and A Good and Perfect Gift (Publisher’s Weekly top ten religion books of 2011). Amy Julia is a guest opinion writer for publications including the New York Times, TIME, Christianity Today, the Christian Century, Religion News Service, Plough, and Comment. She hosts the Love Is Stronger Than Fear podcast and speaks widely at conferences, churches, and schools. Becker is a graduate of Princeton University and the Princeton Theological Seminary (MDiv). She lives with her husband and their three children in western Connecticut.
