William Boerman-Cornell
Graphic Novel
William Boerman-Cornell is a professor of education and English at Trinity Christian College. He holds an MFA from Columbia College, an MEd from Dordt College, and a PhD from the University of Illinois, Chicago. His research focuses on ways that middle school and high school teachers can help students learn how to read within the context of different academic disciplines. He is the co-author of Graphic Novels in High School and Middle School Classrooms: A Disciplinary Literacies Approach (2017) and Using Graphic Novels in the English Language Arts Classroom (2020).
