Wendy Bilen
Memoir
Wendy Bilen is a creative nonfiction writer. In 2008 she published the award-winning Finding Josie, and soon thereafter was granted a residency by the Ragdale Foundation and an Individual Artist Award by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Her essays and articles have appeared in several magazines, journals, and newspapers, including The Washington Post, River Teeth, Sojourners, Creative Nonfiction Sunday Short Reads, and Women in Higher Education. Since 2006, Bilen has taught at the women's college of Trinity Washington University in the District of Columbia.
