Trevor Morgan attended the 1996 Festival of Faith & Writing. A professor at Howard Payne University, he participated in the academic session "Children and Heroes in Fantasy Literature." Morgan spoke about his paper "Tolkien's Middle-Earth Saga as Christianized Anti-Heroic Myth."
