Sheila Hughes

Sheila Hassell Hughes is the dean of the School of Liberal Arts at Saint Mary's College of California. She holds an MA in English from the University of Toronto and a PhD in women's studies from Emory University. Hughes' areas of interest include feminist theologies and multicultural women's writing. Her scholarship has been published in journals such as Religious Studies Review, Literature and Theology, and MELUS: Multi-Ethnic Literatures of the U.S.
