Sara Carder is Editorial Director of TarcherPerigee, an imprint of Penguin Random House that publishes books aimed at helping readers learn, create, and grow. Carder began her editorial career in 1997 at Berkley Books, a paperback division of Penguin Random House, working on mysteries, thrillers, and literary fiction. She joined Tarcher in 2000. Her bestselling authors include Julia Cameron, Betty Edwards, and Daniel J Siegel, M.D author of the New York Times bestseller Brainstorm and Parenting from the Inside Out.
