Ronald Shafer

Ronald Shafer is a professor emeritus at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he taught in the English Department for more than forty years. He has published widely on Shakespeare, Milton, and the Metaphysical Poets. Shafer has also produced documentary films about novelist John Updike (1996), poet laureate Robert Pinsky (1999), and the poets Donald Hall and Jane Kenyon (1999). The documentary about Hall and Kenyon was featured at the 2000 Festival of Faith and Writing.
