Roger Lundin (1949-2015) was the Arthur F. Holmes Professor of Faith and Learning at Wheaton College, where he taught American literature and modern European literature, and was honored twice as Teacher of the Year. He published widely on the topics of culture, literary interpretation, and religion in literary studies; his books include Emily Dickinson and the Art of Belief (2004) and Beginning with the Word: Modern Literature and the Question of Belief (2013). Lundin served as president of the Conference on Christianity and Literature, and also served as a visiting professor at several institutions including Regent College, the University of Notre Dame, and Duke Divinity School.
