Rachel Marie Stone writes about food, faith, justice, public health, and maternal health. Her work has appeared in Christianity Today, Sojourners, Books & Culture, The Christian Century, The Progressive Christian, and Creation Care Magazine. Stone has published several books, including Birthing Hope, a memoir of motherhood and fear; Eat with Joy: Redeeming God’s Gift of Food, the winner of a Christianity Today book award; and a revised version of the More-With-Less Cookbook, the classic Mennonite cookbook that celebrates faith, justice, simplicity, and good eating. Stone teaches English at the Stony Brook School in New York.
