Philip Yancey is an award-winning author and journalist who has served as editor-at-large of Christianity Today and co-chair of the editorial board for Books and Culture. He has written thirteen Gold Medallion Award-winning books and won two ECPA Book of the Year awards. His body of work includes Where is God When It Hurts? (1977), Disappointment With God (1992), The Jesus I Never Knew (1995), What's So Amazing About Grace? (1998), The Bible Jesus Read (1999), and Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference? (2006). Yancey currently has more than 15 million books in print, published in over 50 languages worldwide.
