Morgan Meis holds a PhD in philosophy and is an editor at the website 3 Quarks Daily. He has written for The New Yorker, n+1, The Believer, Harper’s Magazine, Slate, and The Virginia Quarterly Review. Meis is the winner of the Whiting Award for nonfiction as well as a Creative Capital Warhol Foundation Arts Writers grant. He currently teaches art history and philosophy of art at Detroit’s College for Creative Studies.
