Micah Lott holds an MA in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Chicago. He teaches ethics and philosophy at Boston College, and has published articles in journals such as Ethics, American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly, Journal of Moral Philosophy, and Faith and Philosophy. At the 2018 Festival of Faith and Writing, he interviewed the acclaimed poets Marie Howe and Pádraig Ó Tuama.
