Rev. Dr. Mary S. Hulst is the campus pastor at Calvin University and the author of A Little Handbook for Preachers. She holds an MDiv from Calvin Theological Seminary, and a PhD in communication ethics and philosophy of religion from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With experience as a senior pastor and as a professor, she lectures around the country on preaching, teaches workshops for preachers, and consults with churches and search committees on how to listen well to sermons.
