Marcia Meier is an award-winning writer, developmental book editor, and writing coach. Her books include Unmasked: Women Write About Sex and Intimacy After Fifty, co-edited with Kathleen Barry; Navigating the Rough Waters of Today's Publishing World: Critical Advice for Writers from Industry Insiders; and Heart on a Fence, a book of poetry and photography. Her newest book, Face: A Memoir, is forthcoming from Saddle Road Press in January 2021. Meier was the founding director of the Summer Writing Institute at Antioch University in Santa Barbara, and has written for numerous publications including The Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, and The Writer.
