Krista Tippett

Krista Tippett is a Peabody Award-winning broadcaster and National Humanities Medalist. She founded and heads the On Being Project, a media and public life initiative that includes the On Being public radio show and podcast, as well as the Civil Conversations Project. She’s the author of the New York Times-bestselling Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living. Tippett grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, attended Brown University, became a journalist and diplomat in Cold War Berlin, and later received a Master of Divinity from Yale University. Her books also include Einstein’s God: Conversations about Science and the Human Spirit and Speaking of Faith.
