Katherine Willis Pershey

Katherine Willis Pershey is an Associate Minister at First Congregational Church in Western Springs, Illinois. She has written two books: Very Married: Field Notes on Love and Fidelity (2016) and Any Day a Beautiful Change: A Story of Faith and Family (2012). Pershey has also contributed chapters to books such as There’s a Woman In The Pulpit: Christian Clergywomen Share Their Hard Days, Holy Moments and the Healing Power of Humor.
Pershey was a founding editorial board member of Fidelia’s Sisters, a publication of The Young Clergy Women Project, and she is a member of Ink: A Creative Collective. Additionally, Pershey is a frequent contributor to the Christian Century and The Art of Simple.
Pershey also teaches yoga classes and spiritual writing workshops. She and her husband, Ben, have two daughters.
