Katherine James’s debut novel, Can You See Anything Now? (2018) won Christianity Today’s Fiction Book of the Year Award and was a semifinalist for the Doris Bakwin Prize. She has also written a memoir, A Prayer for Orion: A Son's Addiction and a Mother's Love (2020). Her poetry and narrative nonfiction has been published in a variety of journals and anthologies, and one of her stories was shortlisted for a Narrative spring prize. James holds an MFA from Columbia University.
