Joshua Max Feldman is a writer of fiction and plays. His debut novel, The Book of Jonah (2014), is a modern retelling of the biblical story of Jonah; the novel has been translated into nine languages. His second novel, Start Without Me (2017), explores characters' efforts to know and become their best selves. The Washington Post has praised Feldman's work, saying that "His willingness to pose the big questions to the whirlwind makes for unusually thoughtful reading.”
