John Sloan is a freelance writer and editor with extensive experience in general market and religious publishing. Prior to starting his freelance business, he worked for five years as managing editor at Multnomah Publishers, and thirty-three years as executive editor at Zondervan Publishers. Sloan has worked with award-winning authors such as Philip Yancey, Chuck Colson, Joni Eareckson Tada, Lee Strobel, John Ortberg, and Frederick Buechner; he has been involved in the production of more than thirty Gold Medallion award books, and three ECPA Book of the Year titles.
