Jo Walton

Jo Walton is best known for her award-winning fantasy and science fiction writing. She has published fifteen novels, three poetry collections, a short story collection, and a collection of essays about science fiction and fantasy classics. Her many honors include the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, for the publication of her debut novel The King's Peace (2000); the World Fantasy Award for Tooth and Claw (2003); both a Hugo and Nebula award for her semi-autobiographical fairytale, Among Others (2011); and the 2017 Skylark Award for her overall contributions to science fiction. Walton's recent books include Lent: A Novel of Many Returns (2019) and Or What You Will (2020).
