Jo Kadlecek

Jo Kadlecek is the creative director for Anglican Deaconess Ministries, a 127-year-old women’s foundation and theological college in Sydney, Australia. Previously, she was a senior writer and journalist in residence at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. Kadlecek is the author of numerous nonfiction books, including A Desperate Faith: Lessons on Hope from the Resurrection, Woman Overboard: How Passion Saved My Life, and Desperate Women of the Bible. She has also published several novels, including A Quarter after Tuesday and A Mile from Sunday.
