Jennifer Wilson is a national magazine editor and author of the part travelogue/part memoir Running Away to Home, which won the American Society of Journalists and Authors 2011 Best Nonfiction Award and the Emerging Iowa Author Award in 2012. More recently, she has written an environmental novel, Water. Her nonfiction work has appeared in Esquire, Gourmet, Midwest Living, Kirkus Review, No Depression, National Geographic, and many other publications.
