Jeff Gundy is the author of seven poetry collections, including Abandoned Homeland (Bottom Dog Press, 2015) and Somewhere Near Defiance (Anhinga Press, 2014), for which he was named Ohio Poet of the Year. He teaches English at Bluffton University in Ohio.
