Heather Bouwman

Heather Bouwman publishes under the name H. M. Bouwman. She is the author of the children's novel A Crack in the Sea (2017), which was a finalist in the Middle Literature category for the 2018 Minnesota Book Award. Her other publications include The Remarkable and Very True Story of Lucy & Snowcap (2008) and A Tear in the Ocean (2019), as well as the Owen and Eleanor early chapter book series. She is a professor of English at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
