George Marsden
Theology
George Marsden is a Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Notre Dame. His scholarship studies the interaction between Christianity and U.S. culture, particularly in American higher education. In 2003, Marsden published his biography Jonathan Edwards: A Life, for which he received the Bancroft Prize and the Merle Curti Award. Marsden also received the Grawemeyer Award in Religion in 2005. He currently lives with his wife in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
