Dinah Stevenson worked for more than thirty years at Clarion Books, where she held the roles of vice president, publisher, and editor-at-large. During her time at Clarion, she specialized in children's books, working with authors such as David Wiesner, Jim Murphy, Alice McLerran, Linda Sue Park, and Cynthia Leitich Smith. Stevenson retired from Clarion in 2020.
