Deborah Leiter Nyabuti

Deborah Leiter Nyabuti is a writer, a narrative theorist, a scholar and author consultant, and a media researcher. She has taught a wide range of topics at the university level. Nyabuti holds two degrees in English and a Ph.D. in Communication from Purdue. She worked at HarperCollins Publishers for seven years before attending grad school.
Nyabuti is a member of Sisters in Crime and co-chair of the Mystery and Detective Fiction Caucus of the Popular Culture Association. She writes the blog Still and Still Moving; she is also working on a historical mystery series.
