Darlene Meyering
Darlene Meyering worked at Calvin College for 32 years. She served in the Music Department and the Alumni Relations Office, ending her career as Executive Associate to President Gaylen Byker. While at Calvin, Meyering enjoyed singing in the Alumni Choir and acting with the Alumni Theater Company. She also interviewed authors at the Festival of Faith & Writing.
Meyering passed away in 2021 following a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia. Her friends and family remember her faith, enthusiasm, and genuine care for others.
