Christiana N. Peterson is the author of Mystics and Misfits: Meeting God through St. Francis and Other Unlikely Saints (2017) and Awakened by Death: Live-Giving Lessons from the Mystics (2020). Her writing on mystics, community, the spiritual disciplines of motherhood, and death has appeared in Christianity Today; Art House America; Christian Century; and Good Letters, an Image blog.
Peterson holds a Masters in Theology and a PhD in Creative Writing from St. Andrews University in Scotland. She lives in Ohio with her husband and their four children.
