Christa Parrish is a novelist and founder of Breaking the Sea Ministries. Her award-winning books include Still Life, which won the 2016 Christianity Today Book Award for Fiction; Stones for Bread, which won the 2014 Christy Awards for Contemporary Fiction; and Watch Over Me, which won the 2010 ECPA Book Award for Fiction. Her novels The Air We Breathe and Home Another Way were also finalists for fiction awards. Parrish lives in upstate New York with her husband, pastor and writer Chris Coppernoll, and they have four children in their blended family. When not writing, she is creative director of The Mission Community Church and a homeschool mom.
