Bruce Umpstead has served as a judge for the Amy Awards, which recognize “creative, skillful writing that presents in a sensitive, thought-provoking manner the biblical position on issues affecting the world today.” Umpstead has also maintained the Amy Foundation’s blog, "The Best Christian Journalism on the Web." In addition to his interest in journalism, Umpstead also has extensive experience in the field of educational technology. He holds BA and MBA degrees from Michigan State University.
