Bill Fehsenfeld, along with his wife Cecile, has a passion for reading and community involvement. These interests led them to open the first Schuler Books in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1982. Since then, their business has blossomed into Schuler Books & Music, with locations in Grand Rapids and Lansing, as well as Nicola's Books, a partner store in Ann Arbor. The stores are some of the nation's largest independent bookstores.
