Anne Bogel is the creator of the literary podcasts What Should I Read Next? and One Great Book, as well as the long-running blog Modern Mrs Darcy®. While Modern Mrs. Darcy® isn’t strictly a book blog, Anne writes frequently about books and reading. Her book lists are among her most popular posts. She also helps people learn to read better, together, in Modern Mrs Darcy Book Club.
Anne is the author of several books, including Don't Overthink It: Make Easier Decisions, Stop Second-Guessing, and Bring More Joy to Your Life (2020), I'd Rather Be Reading: The Delights and Dilemmas of the Reading Life (2018), and Reading People: How Seeing the World through the Lens of Personality Changes Everything (2017). Her most recent book, My Reading Adventures: A Book Journal for Kids, supports kids ages 8-12 as they grow into even more adventurous and eager readers.
Anne lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband, four children, and a yellow lab named Daisy.
