Angela Doll Carlson is a poet, fiction writer, and essayist. She is the author of several books, including the memoir Nearly Orthodox: On Being a Modern Woman in an Ancient Tradition (2014), Garden in the East: The Spiritual Life of the Body (2016), and The Wilderness Journal: Daily Reflections on the Philokalia (2018). Carlson currently serves as the managing editor for St. Katherine Review, and writes the blog "Nearly Orthodox" for Ancient Faith Ministries.
