Andi Cumbo-Floyd is a writer, teacher, editor, and farmer. Her books include The Slaves Have Names (2013), The Bottle of Never Forgetting (2020), and Writing Day in and Day Out (2015). Besides working on her farm in Virginia, Cumbo-Floyd has taught writing at several colleges and universities, including George Mason University, Cecil College, and Santa Clara University.
