Aaron Brown

Poetry

Aaron Brown was born in Texas and grew up in Chad. He is the author of the poetry collection Acacia Road, which won the Gerald Cable Book Award and Nelson Poetry Award. His writing has been published in journals such as World Literature Today, Tupelo Quarterly, Waxwing, Cimarron Review, and Transition. He is a contributing editor for Windhover: A Journal of Christian Literature, and he blogs regularly for Ruminate, a contemplative literary arts magazine. Brown now lives in Texas, where he is a professor of English and directs the writing center at LeTourneau University. He holds an MFA from the University of Maryland.
