Hudson-Townsend Publishing Institute

Held over a long weekend on the campus of Calvin University, the Hudson-Townsend Publishing Institute (HPI) is designed to fit into the busy schedules of working professionals and advanced university students.

​In 2019, the CCFW held its second iteration of the HPI. Faculty from global publishing houses and award-winning presses led students through the process by which a manuscript becomes a published book, with practical,  hands-on workshops in acquisitions, editing, layout & design, and publicity. A set registrant limit ensured a small group experience with plenty of faculty face time.
