Tasha Jun, a speaker at the 2026 Festival of Faith and Writing

Tasha Jun

Tasha Jun is a mixed-race Korean American melancholy dreamer, memoirist, children’s book author, mentor, spiritual director, and contemplative soul. She grew up in a multicultural home, and because of that, she’s spent her life navigating cultural collisions and liminal space.

Tasha sees the world best through stories and poetry, and is passionate about creating spaces of belonging wherever she is. She writes about everyday life and cultural and ethnic identity, and writing has always been the way God has led her towards the hope of shalom.

When she’s not driving her kids around to various activities or asking one of them if they’ve eaten yet, you’ll find her reading, writing, or meeting with others for spiritual direction. She writes about everyday life, faith, and cultural and ethnic identity, and has found a homecoming in the contemplative expression of her faith.

She lives in the greater Indianapolis area with her family.
