Vito Aiuto is the author of a volume of poems, Self-Portrait as Jerry Quarry. He is also a pastor who helped to found Resurrection Brooklyn, a network of five churches in New York City’s largest borough that are committed to personal conversion, community formation, social justice, and cultural renewal. He has been the lead pastor at Resurrection Williamsburg since it started in May 2005. In addition to his work as a pastor and writer, he plays in the gospel music group The Welcome Wagon. Aiuto is a graduate of Western Michigan University and Princeton Theological Seminary.
