Sam Alvord

Thomas Sam Alvord was a founding professor of Houghton College's Oregon Extension, located in the Cascade Mountains. He holds a B.A. in English from Kings College, an M.A. in Christian education from Trinity Divinity School, and an M.A. in literature from Northeastern Illinois University.
Alvord attended the 1998 Festival of Faith & Writing, where he spoke at an academic session on David James Duncan.
