Chris Anderson is professor of English at Oregon State University and a Catholic deacon. He has written fourteen books on a variety of subjects, including Edge Effects: Notes from an Oregon Forest, which was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award in creative nonfiction; two books of poetry, My Problem with the Truth and The Next Thing Always Belongs; and a book of collage essays, Light When It Comes: Trusting Joy, Facing Darkness, and Seeing God in Everything.
