Mike Salisbury

For nearly twenty years, Mike Salisbury has helped authors transform ideas into bestselling books and enduring brands. As a literary agent at Yates & Yates and a consultant at Author Coaching, he has guided high-capacity communicators—pastors, speakers, thought leaders—through the complexities of publishing.

He also brings marketing expertise from his experience at Zondervan and David C. Cook, where he led campaigns for authors such as Shauna Niequist, Ann Voskamp, Brennan Manning, and Francis Chan. Since then, he has worked with dozens of New York Times bestselling authors, including John Mark Comer, Jon Acuff, Jennie Allen, and Jefferson Bethke—while also supporting emerging voices like Sara Hagerty, Glen Henry, and Jon Tyson to break through.

Mike’s fiction has appeared in Black Warrior Review, Midwestern Gothic, and Crab Orchard Review, among others. He is a graduate of the MFA program at Pacific University and the co-creator of the graphic novel The Quarry (Scout Comics).

He lives with his wife and daughters along Michigan’s West Coast.
