Craig Mattson (PhD, Regent University) is the Arthur DeKruyter Chair in Faith and Communication and a professor of communication at Calvin University. Before coming to Calvin, he taught and conducted research for twenty years at Trinity Christian College. He is the author of Digital Overwhelm: A Mid-Career Guide to Coping at Work, Why Spiritual Capital Matters, and Rethinking Communication in Social Business. Craig writes nearly every day and hosts The Mode/Switch, a newsletter and podcast about making work more livable and sustainable. He and his wife, Rhoda, have four children and now enjoy hiking, racquetball, and walking their exceptionally timid Shih Tzu, Chaucer, around Grand Rapids.
